The EKWB EK-Quantum Velocity2 D-RGB — 1700 Nickel + Acrylic is a high-performance, high-quality CPU water block for the Intel® Socket LGA 1700-based platform. It features a next-generation socket-specific cooling system. This CPU water block is EK-Matrix7 compliant and mounts via the patent-pending EK Exact Mount system. The CPU water blocks of the EK-Quantum Velocity2 series contain the next generation of OptiFlow cooling. They use a special combination of mounting pressure and coldplate geometry tailored to the IHS and die layout of Intel LGA 1700 socket processors. The low hydraulic flow restriction allows these products to be used in setups with weaker water pumps or lower pump speeds for even quieter operation while still delivering peak performance. The turned cold plate is crafted with precision to effectively cover the IHS and apply pressure to the die area. The cold plate is manufactured from the highest quality pure electrolytic copper which is precision machined to provide the best possible contact and heat transfer and is additionally nickel plated. This version of the water block features a nickel plated cold plate with a CNC machined cast acrylic top. The EK-Quantum Velocity2 is an EK-Matrix7 compatible product. The EK-Matrix7, a product grid that will set a standard. EK adds a new dimension to PC liquid cooling, where the height of the products and the distance between the terminals are regulated in 7mm increments. This improves product alignment and reduces the time spent planning the loop and bending the tubing. Careful planning of the products makes building a liquid-cooled PC easy. EK-Exact Mount is a patent-pending mounting system designed and engineered by EK in search of an easy-to-use, yet aesthetically pleasing mounting mechanism. It consists of just three parts — the back plate, mounting screws and the water block itself. It screws in from the rear, allowing for a seamless and clean front aesthetic without any screws disturbing the harmony of the form. The system uses pre-loaded springs hidden in the top of the water block, so installation is completed with just a few turns of the wing nuts, giving you just the down pressure you need.

Additional Information: This product is compatible with all major addressable RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow mark on the 3-pin D-RGB LED connector must be aligned with the +5V mark on the D-RGB header. 14 addressable RGB LEDs are hidden under the sticker.
Note: This product should not be used with EK Fluid Gaming aluminum parts. The use of specially formulated coolants containing corrosion, scale and biological inhibitors is imperative to prevent damage to the nickel plated water block.
