The perfect glass pot for taking your overnight oats, rice salad or pasta pot on-the-go<br><br>A lightweight 450ml borosilicate glass bowl with a protective container made from sustainably sourced wood fibre base and stainless steel lid.<br><br><b>Clean & safe</b><br>The silicone lid protects your microwave from food splatter and the clever air release tab ensures no heat vacuum forms whilst heating.<br><br><b>High-quality glass</b><br>The glass used in the Lunch Pot is Borosilicate, which is lightweight, stain resistant and strong.<br><br><b>Wood fibre base</b><br>The protective and heat resistant base ensures the product can be handled straight from the microwave, with a silicone ring which stops the base from slipping or moving.<br><br><b>A word from the designer</b><br>The brief for this design came from seeing a growing trend of people using standard glass food containers or mason/kilner jars as their lunch box. Although these products were fine for home-use, they were not suited for on-the-go, being heavy, fragile and not fully leak proof. Taking advantage of the light weight and strength of Borosilicate glass, we were able to create a better solution. The design is modern but has an almost utilitarian retro appeal. Using Stainless Steel and the wood-fibre polymer base to protect the glass is a lovely combination of materials. The end design is innovative and unique to the market.
