The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable 43156 uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device by 10 meters. Data transfer rates of up to 5Gbit/s are still supported. The USB 3.0 active extension with USB plug A and USB socket A enables flexible positioning of USB-A devices such as drives or webcams at a greater distance from PCs, laptops or tablets. Up to 2 active extensions can be connected in series. The Lindy USB 3.0 active extension is suitable for long distance and active connections, for example between the ASUS Chromebox and a USB camera in an installation with Google Hangouts Meet hardware, perfect for meeting rooms and video conferences. The USB active extension also has a DC socket for connecting an external power pack (not included) for devices with high power requirements.
