The Bosch starter set 18V (PBA 2.5Ah + AL 18V-20) is a set with the particularly compact charger AL18V-20 including a battery. The Bosch battery pack PBA 18V 2.5Ah is a lithium-ion battery with a voltage of 18 volts and a capacity of 2.5 Ah. The compact 2.5 Ah battery is ideal for applications where low overall weight is important, e.g. when screwing and drilling. The intelligent charging process automatically detects the charging status of the battery and charges it with the optimal charging current depending on the battery temperature and voltage. This protects the battery and always remains fully charged when stored in the charger. The battery is part of the POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE (P4A). A single battery fits all tools and garden equipment in the green Bosch 18V system, but can also be used across brands with numerous other products from other manufacturers in the alliance. Since 2007, the battery has been 100% forward and backward compatible with all green Bosch devices in the 18V class and with many other devices from the brands GARDENA, Bosch Home, GLORIA Haus und Gartengeräte, Wagner and Rapid within the POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE. Simply plug the POWER FOR ALL battery into a tool or garden tool of your choice and you can start immediately. This saves unnecessary batteries and chargers, not only space, but also money with every subsequent purchase, and it protects the environment. The charger shows the charging progress via an LED display.
